Limited user account
The limited user account (limited-access account) can be used to log in to University of Helsinki data systems requiring authentication. The limited user account will provide no access to systems intended for University staff or degree students (e.g., computer terminals) and no email services.
The limited account username is always of the form "part of year" + letter "k" + "number sequence identifying the username". For example, a limited account username created in 2015 could be 5k12345.
You need only one limited user account for your studies at the Open University.

Changing the password
A limited user account is granted for the duration of your right to study.
You must renew your password annually.
